trichomoniasis
(trick-o-mon-i-a-siss)Trichomoniasis is something you should know if you swing both ways, as it mostly affects women. It’s a parasite that causes inflammation of the urethra (your pee-hole). Most men experience no symptoms, but some experience irritation inside the urethra or under the foreskin. You could also have a slight penile discharge, feel a frequent need to pee or experience pain/burning while peeing. While the parasite is harder to detect in men, it can be easily treated with a single pill you can get from your doctor. You can be infected over and over again, even after you’ve been treated.
