tina's cafe
What is Tina’s Café? It’s tweaker performance art, that’s what!
It’s spoken word and it’s the public reading of new written works. It’s conversation and it’s controversy. It’s recorded music and it’s live music. And, since it happens in the Castro, it’s sometimes if not always drag queens. Tina’s Café is our space and the place to talk about speed and what it does to and for us. We start and end early enough in the evening so you can carry on with other business if you’re so inclined. Tina’s Café happens 9 – 11 pm on a Friday night every three months or so. We do our thing at 4122 18th Street, between Castro and Collingwood, in the heart of the gay universe! Click on any link below to see photos from Tina's Cafe. |
