no good way to do drugs!

"There is no "good" way to do drugs. If you wanted to do a service to the community you would not suggest that there is a "middle ground." As a recovered addict that works with addicts on a daily basis, I see absolutely NO ROOM for suggesting that "if yer gonna do drugs, do it this way" because AS a practicing addict I would find EVERY reason in the world to continue doing them. And every addict I know thinks the same way when they are practicing. Granted not every user is an addict but when it comes to crystal every user WILL become an addict with regular use. There is no such thing as social using. There is no such thing as occasional users.
If you use crystal your life and your body will become fucked and there is no other message that should be given. No soft geltabs. No candy-coated message. No gentle pat on the backs and say well it will be okay if you just cut down. There is only one HONEST message: crystal meth will destroy every aspect of your life from your relationships to your job to your finances to your health. If it doesn't physically kill you it will kill everything you hold dear and you will die inside. There is no middle ground. Use drugs...die. It's so simple.
Fortunately I had never become addicted to crystal before I got clean (I was using, but circumstances led me to a hospital before I became an addict. I was addicted to everything else there was.), but I have watched it destroy every life it touches. One by one. A slow insidious death. Friends. Family. You name it. To suggest that you can lessen the destruction by doing anything less than quitting is tantamount to assisted suicide or murder. All that will do is make the death and destruction slower and more agonizing and simply postpone the inevitable. There can be NO suggestion that "moderated use" will be okay because that is a lie. Please become more educated on the disease before you offer a treatment.
Sorry for being so harsh but I was absolutely stunned by the suggestions on your website and hope and pray no one else reads it. I see too many people dying. Yes there was some good information on what the drugs do to your body. But I believe you are doing a serious disservice and can cause great harm. Provide them with resources to help them quit, even if you don't tell them they should. You can suggest in every sentence that they cannot safely use this drug without telling them to quit. I agree, no one could ever tell me to quit until I wanted to. But the fact that everyone around me was telling me I had a problem and needed to get help was a major impetus for my eventual surrender. I could not see what the drugs were doing. Other people telling me regularly, "Quit" did chip away at my own denial and delusion. But if those same people told me, "Well, you don't really need to quit, you just need to..." do it this way or do it that way or supplement this or that...I would immediately, as an addict in my delusion, see that as one more way to keep going. I beg of you to reconsider the message you are sending out. It WILL kill people."
