If you’re going to hook up, screen your partners like you would incoming phone calls. Some guys say it’s easier for them to fuck around with guys who are only into sober sex. Other guys decided that it was cool to be abstinent for a while. The dudes with boyfriends had to make some changes, for sure. It was communication with their men, when all was said and done, that helped these guys out. Some negotiated different sexual activities or patterns or times or places while other opted to refrain for a while. Single or coupled, those of us who were stoked on immediate anonymous pick-ups found that we fared best when we avoided spontaneous sex and, instead, planned our connections.
