While you were living the high life you might have neglected your body and health. When we stopped using we found ourselves eating like sharks in frenzy and had to remind ourselves to eat when we were hungry but to eat well. It was also time for some us to go back to that gym we’d been paying dues to all those months (and years!) without ever stepping foot inside the place. All that chatter about endorphins is true; physical activity floods you with them and they reduce both depressed mood and stress and can make you feel better overall. Taking better care of ourselves, physically, can and does improve our emotional and mental health. previous tip next tip
